Hi-fi— (also hi-fidelity) is a term used by "audiophiles" (i.e. music and sound enthusiasts) to refer to high-quality reproduction of sound with minimal amount of noise and distortion. The members of Hi-Fi Quartet are committed to providing musical entertainment with the highest quality of sound able to be produced by 4 a cappella singers.
More About Hi-Fi Quartet The members of Hi-Fi are all quite experienced in the barbershop art form. Two of the members - Maureen Brzinski and Debra Peters - sang together in Melo-Edge Quartet, the 1983 Sweet Adelines Queens of Harmony international quartet champions.
Melo-Edge was a very popular quartet based out of the Chicago area. In their years together as an active quartet, they traveled and performed extensively including making an appearance on the "Mike Douglas Show" and created 4 recordings together. The other two members - Helen Giallombardo and Dawn Peters - have both competed with several past regional champion quartets, including Jukebox which made it to the Top 10 Sweet Adelines International Finals round two times and also cut their namesake CD.
Having formed in January of 2011, Hi-Fi Quartet has already astounded people with their beautiful unique sound and fine, varied repertoire. They would love to sing for your show or special event! Contact Hi-Fi Quartet!
